Puzzeln

So langsam geht das Puzzeln los. Wie , wo , was nähe ich zusammen? 

Der Quilt soll ca. 120 x120cm groß werden und er soll natürlich auch einen Rand bekommen. Da werde ich jetzt so langsam überlegen müssen, ob ich alles nehme oder einige Lückenfüller doch weg lasse.

Slowly the puzzling is starting. How, where, what will I sew together? The quilt will become about 48 x48" and it shall also have a frame. I realy have to think about, which space fillers do I take with it, which once not?

Weihnachten - Christmas

Das ist vorerst das letzte Foto, was ich zu diesem Thema zeige. Ich packe Weihnachten jetzt erstmal weg. Das sind die Frosty Flakes, die ich mit dem Tannenbaum in einem Quilt verarbeiten möchte. 

This is the last picture I show for now with this theme. I am storing Christmas away now. 

The Frosty Flakes and the tree will be gathered in one quilt.

weiter geht's - continued

Da der Tannenbaum vorerst hintenan gestellt wurde geht's jetzt weiter mit dem  Blue-Work.

Verschätzt

Da hab ich gedacht, ich bekomme den Baum noch heute fertig, aber nee, da ist noch so einiges, was ich machen möchte und die aufgenähten Ministernchen gefallen mir auch nicht richtig. 

Irgendetwas möchte ich auch noch mit den Perlen machen...

Morgen muß ich beruflich für 2 Tag zu einem Training, da komme ich also auch nicht zum Sticheln. Dabei wollte ich doch endlich zurück an mein Blue-Work. Und den Baum wollte ich erst fertig haben, bevor ich diesen Weihnachtsblock weglege. Mhhh!

I thought I would finish the tree today, but "no".  There are a few things I want to do still and I am not realy pleased with the sewn on little stars either. 
The beats could be used, too  somehow...
Tomorrow I have to leave for a training at my job for 2 days so I have no time for sewing. 
I want to go back to my blue work, but I thought to finish the tree first before I store the Christmas block away. Mhhh!

Schleifen - Bows

Ihr könnt euch gar nicht vorstellen, wie schwierig es ist, diese 2 cm kleinen Schleifen an den Baum zu binden *g*

You cann't imagine how difficult it is to tie this 3/4 '' bows to the tree..*g*

Takelage

Während andere schon längst die Weihnachtssachen weggeräumt haben, habe ich gerade angefangen, meinen Baum zu schmücken.

While other people already have stored away the Christmas things I am just starting to decorate my tree.

Wachstum - Growing

 

Meine "Pimpelliese" wächst. An manchen Tagen schaffe ich mehr, an anderen weniger, als geplant. Aber über die Mitte bin ich schon hinweg, es wird wieder weniger pro Reihe.

Und der schöne Beutel von Quiltinchen ist echt prima, als Transport- und
Strickzeugbehälter.

My "Pimpeliese" is growing. Some days more, some days less than aimed. But I have allready done more than half of it and the rows are getting shorter now again.  

The nice bag from Quiltinchen is just perfect as transportation- and knitting bag.

Kamel

Anläßlich eines "runden Geburtstags" haben die Tuesday Chicken jede ein Blöckchen für das Geburtstags-Huhn genäht. 

Mein Block war  "Das Kamel". Hier liegt es noch auf meinem Küchenboden.
Der Quilt der daraus entstanden ist ,ist leider noch auf keinem Blog zu sehen.

This block was made for one of the Tuesday Chickens who had a birthday becomming one decade older. 

(Do you call this also "a rounding birthday"?).

Here the block is still laying on my citchen floor.
The finished quilt is not on any blog so far.

Pimpelliese

Ich habs doch geschafft und mit der Pimpelliese angefangen. 

Da ich mich dabei aber sehr auf die Anleitung konzentrieren muß, ist das kein Strickzeug für nebenbei am Fernseh oder so. Habe mir vorgenommen, jeden Tag (mindestens) 2 Zacken zu schaffen (neben den anderen Dingen, die ich in Arbeit habe).

I did start the "Pimpelliese". 

But it is nothing you can do beside whatching TV or so, because you realy have to concentrate on the pattern. I want to do at least 2 tips a day (beside all the other things am am working on)

Ich wollte undbedingt mit der "Pimpelliese" (einem Schal) anfangen. Nach 3 Versuchen mit Wollfaden als Markierung habe ich statt dessen erstmal ein paar Maschenmarkierer gemacht. 

Dazu habe ich mit kunststoffummantelten Draht  und Perlen benutzt. 

Die "Pimpelliese" habe ich aber noch nicht wieder angefangen *g*.

I wanted to start the "Pimpelliese" (a scarf). After 3 tries with a wool thread for marking, I had to start first with some stitch marker. 

I used plastic covered wire and beats for it. 

But the "Pimpeliese" I still didn't start again *g*.
